A property passport bundles documents that would otherwise be in emails, folders and with various parties involved. Its benefit comes from correct documents and regulated access.
What belongs in it
Verified plans, instructions, guarantees, maintenance records and approved recordings are suitable. Name the source and date of each file. An older sketch should not appear as a current floor plan; A visualization does not belong in the “work carried out” folder.
Access and handover
Before passing them on, it must be clarified who is allowed to upload, change or view documents. If a file contains personal data or access codes, its release must be checked particularly carefully. When changing ownership, an organized directory and a clear handover of the documents actually required help.
